IFF Poverty Reduction Summit Owerri 2022
An independent international nongovernmental organization, the International Family Foundation (IFF), is set to hold Session 2 of it's Poverty Reduction Summit in the city of Owerri, Imo state with the theme: POVERTY AND YOUTH CRIMINALITY: THE NEXUS, IMPACTS, AND REMEDIAL ACTIONS.
The event will be on 17th September 2022, at the Protea Hotel Owerri Imo State Nigeria.
IFF's Poverty Reduction Summit series is an outcome of the Foundation's BETTER SOCIETY INITIATIVE, hosted by the IFF President, Prof. Emeka Oguzie.
The goal of the series is to promote the culture of knowledge-driven solutions and interventions in tackling societal challenges that adversely impact on the well being of families.
In line therefore, with the Foundation's culture, the Owerri summit will feature high-impact keynote speeches and panel discussions, with a lead paper by Prof. O.T. Ebiringa, Dean, School of Logistics and Innovation Technology, Federal University of Technology Owerri.
The MISSION of the International family Foundation is to promote, advocate, encourage, facilitate, coordinate and support the development, nature and essence of the conventional Family values, integrity and function.
The Foundation thus aims to globally synchronize, stimulate, organize and coordinate people, resources, information, and activities towards ensuring strong foundational knowledge and understanding of core values, attributes and limitations, in a bid to sustain the existential objective of the conventional traditional family.
These AIMS and OBJECTIVES enable the Foundation to function effectively as the advocate, facilitator, promoter, protector of the traditional Family life in the society, in relation to government and other organizations goals, for peaceful coexistence, justice, equity and rights of the family.
These shall be achieved in partnership with other international service or humanitarian organizations in the promotion of good life but not limited to humanitarian services, health, economy, education, shelter, human rights, security etc”
A Nollywood celebrity and Actor, Sir Bob Mauel Udokwu who is also a member of IFF has been engaged as the ancor of the event.
