IFF KADUNA DISTRIBUTES ITEMS TO ORPHANAGE HOME

In line with its philosophy of touching the lives of the less privileged in the society,  the International Family Foundation, a non-Governmental organization (NGO), IFF Kaduna state chapter visited the children Orphanage Tukur-Tukur, Zaria-Kaduna on Sunday the 18th of December, 2022; to celebrate with the children at the orphanage.

Members of the organization ate, drank and danced with the children to show them love and the sense of belonging.
The organization was received and welcomed by Mal. Tijani, the asst director of the orphanage who represented the director.
The highpoint of the occasion was a 15minutes drama skit presented to the children to commemorate this year’s International Human Rights Day whose theme is DIGNITY, FREEDOM AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.

The drama skit titled WHAT WILL YOU DO? expounded on the issue of empathy for humanity pointing out that violence against children is an offense.
The organization also presented the orphanage with foodstuffs, clothing items and educational items like exercise books, pencils erasers and sharpeners.

A quick quiz was also carried out by teachers among the group and the three winners were presented with gift items and scholarships for the remaining of their primary education.

The project was a success and has really given meaning and purpose of the organization. “Little things make a big difference.”
The organization encourages the act of good giving because they do make a huge difference in the lives of everyone we are able to touch in any way possible.
The coordinator of IFF North, Dr Edoja appealed to the management of the orphanage to use the items donated for the good of the orphans as most of the children were not within the age range to make informed choices.

…Better Family, Better society.
