*HWPL PEACE SUMMIT: INTERNATIONAL FAMILY FOUNDATION PRESIDENT. PROF. EMEKA OGUZIE ARRIVES SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA.*
Sequel to an invitation by Lee Man-hee, Chairman Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration. HWPL; the President of the International Family Foundation, Prof. Emeka Oguzie has arrived in Seoul, South Korea, for the 9th Anniversary of the September 18th HWPL World Peace Summit.
The three day event, from the 18-20 September 2023.
The HWPL International Summit has its focus in the search for practical ways to achieve world peace on Earth.
HWPL'S recognition of the partnership with International Family Foundation IFF is in the foundation's campaigns in peace education and advocacy of the need for lasting peace.
Our conviction is that around the world, there is an increasing demand that peace becomes deeply rooted in our daily lives as part of four culture and social norms.
Members of the IFF had in the past (3 years ago) received extensive training from HWPL and were duly certified as peace educators
Dr. Edoja Ukwedeh, who heads the directorate, expressed appreciation of such a recognition of the foundation's efforts in this direction. Noting that the absence of peace is a threat to humanity and destroyed lives and properties to wars and other conflicts.
At this year's ceremony, HWPL would like to look back on the achievements oft thepast decade of working with governments, international organizations, and civil society, as well as propose a new blueprint for the upcoming decade.
The Secretary General of the Foundation believes that a united movement under the banner of peace will build a better family and a better society.
The International Family Foundation, he said, will do more its campaign in peace education and called for support in this direction.
