IFF visit to the *Heart of Gold Children Hospice on the *25th of November 2023 in Surulere Lagos*

*Report of International Family Foundation(IFF) Lagos Chapter November 2023 outing*.

IFF visit to the *Heart of Gold Children Hospice on the *25th of November 2023 in Surulere Lagos* was a success.

The children were very welcoming and appreciative of our presence.

We were able to provide them with much-needed supplies, including food stuffs, beverages, Drinks etc .

We also spent time interacting with the children.

It was a heartwarming and rewarding experience for all of us as the Children are special children with special needs and care.

Our visit also gave us the opportunity to assess the orphanage's needs and make plans for future assistance.

The Management and staff was very grateful for our support and said that our visit made a real difference in the lives of the children.

They told us that they rely heavily on donations and supports from organizations like ours to keep the orphanage running and to provide for the children's basic needs.

Based on our assessment, we hope that in the nearest future we would continue to support the orphanage with regular donations of food, clothing, and school supplies.

We are also exploring ways to provide other types of support, such as educational and vocational training programs for the older children.

Overall, our visit to the orphanage was a very positive experience. It was wonderful to see the difference our organization can make in the lives of these special children.
