*Abia State Government Commits to Enhancing Judiciary's Working Conditions*

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, has reaffirmed his administration's dedication to providing a conducive environment for the judiciary to effectively administer justice. Speaking at the opening of a four-day training program organized by the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICARB), Governor Otti emphasized the importance of an unbiased judiciary in minimizing instances of poor judicial outcomes.
Represented by his Deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Lekwachi Emetu, the Governor highlighted the program's objective of enhancing the capacity of legal officers, magistrates, and judges in alternative dispute resolution. This initiative aims to decongest courts and promote more efficient justice delivery.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Legal Matters, Mrs. Cleopatra Nkolika Ubani Esq, expressed gratitude for the Governor's unwavering support to the judiciary since assuming office. She noted that the training focuses on building capacity in alternative dispute resolution as an effective means of decongesting courts.
The Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of NICARB, Mrs. Shola Oshodi George, acknowledged the Governor's efforts in promoting arbitration practice in Nigeria and thanked him for his commitment to rule of law and effective justice delivery in Abia State.
The training, fully sponsored by the Abia State Government, seeks to equip the judiciary with skills in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, ultimately enhancing justice administration in the state.
