In a landmark declaration ceremony, Comrade Ukpai Philip Kalu announced his candidacy for the Executive Chairman position of Ohafia Local Government Area Council in the 2024 elections, running on the platform of the Action Alliance (AA) party.
With 15 years of dedicated service as a government appointee, Comrade Kalu has demonstrated his commitment to the people of Ohafia. His declaration speech emphasized his relatable proximity to the hopes, aspirations, and fears of the Ohafia people.
"I believe that the very reason why the Almighty God gave me these experiences, these insights, and these opportunities, is that they must be put to the use of our Council and its great peoples," Comrade Kalu stated.
The Ohafia Youth Anchorage for Good Governance has endorsed Comrade Kalu's candidacy, urging fellow Ohafians to support his vision for a brighter future.
