I am a girl child,
Who holds the link,
Between my relatives,
Who brings joy during old age.
A family without a girl child,
Is like a home without a mother,
I am a girl child,
For I stand as the second mother.
I am a girl child,
Who overcomes at all time,
I double everything given to me in due time,
As a girl child,
I am a mother, nurse, lawyer and more.
I am a proud girl child,
For all the challenges I face,
Makes me stronger at all time,
I promise to birth a girl child tomorrow.
